We often deplete ourselves whilst taking care of our families, careers, and other obligations. I learned the importance of self-care after realizing that mental-physical burnouts were having negative effects on my health. Now, I make a conscious effort to nourish myself a little every day with exercise, yoga, meditation, and food that is good for the body and the soul.
While well-formulated skincare products are a bit of an obsession, luxury skin care in and of itself is last on my priority list of what I need to be healthy. Remember, there are many ways you can improve your skin without spending money on cosmetics. If you buy one product for your skin, let it be a drug—sunscreen. It’s also the one product I would never make myself.
